Junior Board Guidelines & Expectations

Requirements

  • Junior Board members must be in 9th-12th grade
  • You must exhibit at the GCYE to be a Jr Board Member. 

Responsibilities

  • Schools entered in the Gregg County Youth Expo will provide students to be leaders the week of the show that will help facilitate, set up, and work show rings during the week of Gregg County Youth Expo.
  • Schools must submit names and t-shirt sizes to the Junior Board Superintendent at the December Gregg County meeting.
  • Schools will be sent an email with time slots to sign up Junior Board Members the December before the show. 
  • All members must work a minimum of 1 show
  • All Junior Board members will be required to attend the Show Set Up with a minimum of 1 advisor from each school.This date will be set by the show schedule.
  • All Junior Board members will be required to attend Sale Set Up with a minimum of 1 Advisor from each school.
  • There will be a Junior Board Member Remind 101, that all members will need to sign up to. The code will be sent to all advisors via email at sign up. 
  • Jr Board must attend the Premier marketing meeting to serve on the Jr Board.
